the tension between us.
Things I'm glad you say,
I miss you too,
all the intimate parts of "us".
I wish things were different,
just as much as you,
I wish we were together.
I don't like playing pretend,
and seems you don't either,
let's just be "us".
"Us" is a lot of memories,
most of them truly unforgettable,
things that will always make me smile.
"Us" is an uncertain future,
but you should know,
I'm always here for you.

Just keep being you hun... were gonna see each other again and we can see each other more if we choose too. I told you before you left that you were someone I wanted in my life for the long haul and I meant that. Friend or lover. And understand that there are certain memories that don't fade, you always remember a connection like the one we have. It's rare and you don't find it often something your not gonna let fade.
